The Essence of GTi

Game Time International is a brand for the collector. That was my goal from day one and will always be my goal moving forward. As we grow as a dependable and caring company in this industry, we will make sure that our product is what collectors deserve, an affordable high-quality product that looks amazing. I collect cards, primarily Damian Lillard and Trendon Watford. With my collection, I prefer to use card supplies that make sense and look good. Personally, I don’t want to use products that create movement, allow dust to collect, make it easy for scratching on the surface, etc. I am also not the biggest fan of grading all my cards. So, with that said, our brand focuses on quality before quick quantity. As we grow, the importance our quality will always come before aiming for quick rises in quantity. This is the hardest part of growth for any company, learning how to scale while maintaining the integrity of the company’s essence.

GTi Card Supply sells a variety of card supplies, but our staple product is the magnetic one touch, the MAG. Our magnetic one touches are designed a bit different than some of the other brands out there. We have our own molds for our 35-55pt, 75-100pt and 130 pt. We pay extra for a layer of plastic film to make sure that scratched up mags are being sent out. We include extra inner sleeves. We make sure that mag bags are included with every box we sell. We don’t just put our logo on the same generic mold that I am watching so many other companies do. We don’t do this because magnetic one touches should have inner sleeves and the mold that most companies are using is not designed to support an inner sleeve. The next size we will be creating a mold for is cards between the range of 155-180pt.

Our colors are simple and until all the sizes are available in white, black and clear we will follow our brand color scheme for the time being. At the moment we have white, clear and black for our 35-55pt mags, white and black for 130pt and clear for the newly released 75-100pt. Before Christmas we went ahead and did a few gold cracked ice and holo silvers to make things fun.

Our molds are specifically designed for an inner sleeve which is ideal when putting cards into mags. Think about it, if a card goes into a top loader raw, what would be the downfall? The same concept applies with cards and magnetic one touches. How much movement is going on in a generic mag? Are we still putting penny sleeves over the top of the card and then closing the mag on top of the penny sleeves? What is your experience and gripes with using mags without inner sleeves?

I have spoken with countless shop owners, card show vendors and collectors throughout my time in this industry travelling and constantly communicating with people. Aside from a few diehard generic mag supporters, the consensus is clear as day. Collectors don’t like using mags without penny sleeves. Do people still use mags without inner sleeves? YES they do! What are the reasons for still using a product that just isn’t ideal for our cards? We will continue to investigate, continue to grow and continue to make our supporters proud.
